Our vision is to build a nurturing community in which children are well cared for, where the opinions of young people are valued, where adults are empowered to live healthy, productive lives and where all are seen as valued members of the community. WYFCS helps people of all ages with a broad spectrum of services that include mental health counseling, youth and adolescent enrichment programs, advocacy for abused and neglected children, and empowerment programs for those less fortunate.

Worcester Youth and Family Counseling Services, Inc. (WYFCS) is a non-profit organization serving the community since 1975 located in Berlin, Maryland.
WYFCS has been at the heart of what is really happening in the families and homes in Worcester County by reaching the people who need help.
Through programs that include comprehensive Mental Health Counseling, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Youth Mentoring, and Youth Camps and Groups, WYFCS is increasing awareness about mental health, advocating for abused and neglected children, providing community resources and education, and truly making a difference in the lives of the people in the community.

We also work closely with community professionals including medical doctors, hospitals, and schools to provide comprehensive treatment.
Worcester Youth believes not only in minimizing distress but also in capitalizing on an individual's strengths and maximizing wellness.
