Trailblazers Counseling

I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and from William Carey University with a Master of Science degree in Counselor Education. I have a passion to help people tackle the challenges life offers them and learn how to blaze a new trail in life with a confident and courageous mindset. I have 20 years restaurant management and human resource experience which has aided me in understanding human dynamics and the importance of positive goal setting.

For the past 4 years I have worked in an adolescent residential treatment setting; I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Mississippi (LPC); I am a National Board Certified Counselor (NCC); I am a Board Certified Telemental Health Therapist (BC-TMH); and I am a Certified Juvenile Sex Offender Therapist.

I have experience working with the following areas: oppositional defiance, post-traumatic stress, conduct issues, attention deficit hyperactivity, depression, suicidal ideation, self-injury, grief and loss, sexual abuse perpetration and victimization, divorce, bullying, sexuality, substance abuse, trauma, and anger management.
