Golden Counseling & Consulting Services serves Northeast Pennsylvania in historic downtown Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania. Counseling services are located in a comfortable and confidential environment, and I provide counseling services to individuals, couples, and families.
Most clients are ages 10 and older, although I work with younger clients on a case by case basis. Currently, I am accepting new clients on a limited basis, but would be happy to assist you in finding a therapist who will best meet your needs. My counseling services operate from a strengths-based perspective, focusing on a person's positive qualities (strengths) to meet challenges.
In addition, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and other treatment techniques are utilized. When working with younger clients, play and art therapy are the typical treatment modalities. Specialty areas in private practice include: anxiety, depression, bereavement/loss, stress management, coping with chronic illness, self-esteem, body image, healthy relationships, parenting issues, communication skills, trauma, PTSD, anger management, and much more.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania, holding a Master's degree in Social Work (emphasis clinical services) from Marywood University, and Bachelor's degree in Social Work from College Misericordia (now University).
My work experience extends from pre-K through geriatric services in a variety of settings from home-based services, medical social work, college counseling, Head Start, parenting classes, and more.
I have resided in NEPA all my life and interests of mine include volunteerism, photography, reading, swimming, nature hiking, family activities, history, and travel.
