Luverne Counseling offers therapeutic services to help individuals resolve problem areas in their lives. Our counselors are understanding professionals who strive to help their clients work through their emotional, physical, and relational distress, as well as identify their strengths and talents. We provide a safe, anti-racist, gender affirming environment at Luverne Counseling.

Our professionals will listen, assist in understanding the issues, help find solutions, and work with clients to develop effective coping skills and strategies for living a healthier and happier lifestyle. Clients are active in this process through sharing their life situation, their thoughts and feelings, and their efforts to utilize the insight and learning of new skills to resolve the issues that brought them into therapy.
Services
Savannah is a Mental Health Practitioner who graduated with her master's degree in Human Resource Management with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South Dakota State University.
She enjoys working with adolescents, young adults, women, and families.
Her areas of expertise include abuse survivors, anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, conduct disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, as well as other mental health disorders.
Savannah is also very passionate about working with farmers and ranchers.
The focus of DBT Skills Group is on providing alternative coping skills to maladaptive behavior and skills to improve the quality of life.
Clients learn skills to cope with stress, stabilize mood, manage intense feelings, control impulsive behaviors, live in the present, and maintain healthy relationships.

D. Brainspotting provides a neurobiological tool to help people work through experiences of trauma.
