I am a Licensed Professional Counselor providing therapy for adults, children, couples and families in and around the Mexia area and online. My office is located in a unique environment, blending the best of a secluded, rural retreat setting, with faith-based, solution-focused therapy.

Working in collaboration with clients to discover ways to utilize their unique combinations of gifts and strengths, my approach is aimed at helping the client bring about new hope and direction, restore relationships, or simply get back on the right track. While it's true that we can't always control what happens to us, and we certainly can't change others, we do have the ultimate say in how we respond to situations in our lives that are challenging or painful.

Facing hardship and pain is a normal part of being human, and we all need help from time to time. It's how we approach life's uncertainties that often makes the difference between surviving and thriving.
Services
Above all, I am a therapist who believes therapy should be affordable and accessible to the people living and working in our community.
This mindset leads me to work to provide services at fair and affordable rates for individuals and families living and working in Mexia, Fairfield, Groesbeck, Teague and other surrounding areas.
This being the case, we can work together more efficiently toward successful completion of the counseling process.
Many of my clients have completed therapy before they meet their deductible, because rates at Creekside Christian Counseling are close to half the industry norm for therapy, which can be anywhere from $100-$175 per 50 minute session.
I strive to create a calming, sensory-rich therapy environment that promotes mindfulness and healing inspired by and encorporating the beauty and psychologically restorative elements of God's creation: a place to breathe in, relax, experience the peaceful quiet of Creekside's retreat setting, and be yourself without fear of judgement.
I work from a distinctly Christian perspective, and find that maintaining a positive outlook, while spending more time focusing on the solution than on the problem and on the present rather than on the past, is often a refreshing change of pace for many clients and inspires new motivation to make necessary changes in thinking and behavior.
You can get to Creekside from either FM 3119 ("Brickyard Road" which intersects Hwy 14 next to Navarro College) OR LCR 244 (Straight across from "Ross" which passes the school and crosses Hwy 14 headed away from Mexia once you go under the railroad tracks.)
We are West of CR 244, and East of FM 3119 on CR 238.
Once on CR 238, look for a very large, grey mailbox on the North side of the road with the word "Creekside" on the side.
Between the mailbox and the double-wide trailer on the North side of the road is an unpaved, unmarked road that only travels North.
