Services
I am Dr. Bob Bodnar, Ph.
D., a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania.
Thank you for visiting my website.
You may have been referred to me by someone you know or perhaps you did a web search and that is how you came to be reading this.
Regardless of how you've arrived here, I look forward to hearing from you and speaking with you.
I was born and raised in the Detroit area.
I received my B.A. from Michigan State University in 1973.
Afterwards, I moved to Pittsburgh and attended Duquesne University, where I earned an M.A. and then a Ph.
At Psychotherapy Services of Cranberry, Dr. Bodnar is dedicated to helping your child or loved ones overcome any and all obstacles or problems at home, in school, or in the community - with no burden to you financially.
Behavioral Health Rehabilitative Service (BHRS), also known as wraparound service, is a program designed to help children and their families who are experiencing problems at home, in school, or in the community at NO COST to the family.
It is a child-centered and family-focused therapy, which means both the child and the family have direct input into the process.
Grounded in ancient healing traditions and contemporary biophysics, the emerging field of Energy Psychology encompasses a variety of mind-body techniques now being used by health care professionals and psychologists worldwide.
Safe and simple enough even for children to learn and use, these techniques offer the potential for rapid, dramatic, and lasting change in one's thoughts, feelings, and behavior.
Many practitioners feel Energy Psychology is now at the "cutting edge" in terms of where the field itself is going and where some of the most exciting and original research is being done.
Early in my career, I wore two hats - dividing my time between clinical work, on the one hand, and teaching, on the other.
On the clinical side, while still a graduate student, I worked as a psychology intern doing intake interviews and psychotherapy with selected clients at the Duquesne University Psychological Center.
There, under the tutelage and supervision of a master clinician, I began to learn my craft.
After a two year "apprenticeship", I took a position in a school system where I worked for four years providing counseling and therapy to school-age children and high school adolescents.
