B&W Supportive Counseling Group, LLC provides Mental Health Skill Building (MHSB), Intensive In-home (IIH) and Outpatient services to those whom qualifies in the Greater Richmond area. B&W uses person centered planning to determine needs of each individual. At B&W we offer MHSB, IIH and Outpatient services which provides intensive, goal-directed service for children and adults with significant psychiatric illnesses who are struggling to live independently and/or successfully within the community.

Our mission at B&W Supportive Counseling Group, LLC. is to utilize client centered and creative approaches to educate and link individuals to services that are necessary for growth and change thus improving independence.
While in services, areas of focus will include: daily living skills training, accessing community resources, health and safety monitoring, financial management and social supports.
Use of person-centered planning to determine what each individual in our program wants for his or her future.
Exhibit such inappropriate behavior that documented, repeated interventions by the mental health, social services, or judicial system are or have been necessary resulting in being at risk for out of home placement.
Exhibit difficulty in cognitive ability such that they are unable to recognize personal danger or recognize significantly inappropriate social behavior resulting in being at risk for out of home placement.
Qualifications: MHSS/CM will have at least a bachelor's degree in human services or related field from an accredited college in, social work, psychology, psychiatric rehabilitation, sociology, counseling, vocational rehabilitation, human services counseling or other degree deemed equivalent to those approved via DMAS for QMHP-A.
Position Description: The MHSS/CM will provide mental health support services to individuals 18 years and older.
The MHSS/CM will be responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans in accordance with program description and client's needs.
