Unfortunately, my practice is currently full. I am not able to accept any new clients at this time. I hope to begin accepting new clients again in January of 2022. When we are clear about who we are and what we want in life we are able to achieve our goals. The problem is that life sometimes gets in the way and we lose our focus. Reaching out for help is not easy, but here at Cornwall Counseling Services I strive to provide a supportive environment where you are able to find clarity in your life.
Having clarity in our relationships, work life, social life and spiritual life is what makes us healthy. If you could benefit from talking to someone to understand what blocks have been in your way, please consider scheduling an appointment. I would be happy to meet with you and help you find clarity! If you are in crisis and need to speak with someone immediately you may go directly to the emergency room at the hospital or call 911.
You can also call 988, or the national suicide hotline at 1-800-273-8255.

I was a kindergarten teacher in Lebanon for 15 years before making the career shift to become a professional counselor.
In 2014 I graduated from Messiah College with a master's degree in counseling with a marriage, couples and family specialization.
I began working at the Lebanon Treatment Center shortly thereafter focusing on clients suffering from opioid addiction.
In 2017 I joined Empower the Mind, LLC and practiced outpatient counseling as well as working in several Lebanon County schools through the student assistance program (SAP).

Anxiety- I specialize in the treatment of anxiety.
I believe it is helpful to understand that anxiety is the body's natural physical response to danger.
By understanding what is happening physically in the body when our mind begins to worry we can focus on the thought patterns that are triggering the anxious reaction.
You don't have to suffer with anxiety.
I use a variety of treatment modalities in order to tailor anxiety treatment to each individual client.
A few of the treatment methods I use are cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR) and Solution Focused Treatment.

Whether you have been in counseling before or this is your first time, it can be intimidating to start new.
Here is some information to help you begin.
What is therapy?
Therapy or counseling is an opportunity to talk about any issues or concerns which are interfering with healthy living.
Due to confidentiality, it provides a safe atmosphere to explore issues that you may not feel comfortable talking about with friends or family.
Together, we develop a treatment plan so that you can decide what you want to work on during each session.
