I have been working as a psychotherapist since 2004, when I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the Hunter College School of Social Work. I hold a Clinical Social Work License with Psychotherapy Privilege in the State of New York. My work as a psychotherapist has given me the opportunity to work with many different people dealing with different struggles.

Through my work I discovered that I am most passionate about helping people with Depression, Anxiety and Stress find ways of reclaiming their lives and find peace and happiness. The most important thing I have learned throughout my career is the importance of the therapeutic relationship. If you are comfortable with me and trust me then you can fully engage in the work.

We can both gain a better understanding of what your needs are and work towards making the changes that you deem important. I know that when you see a therapist, you want to know that this person will help you feel better. You want to know that this person has an understanding of what it is you are going through and has the necessary skills to be effective in helping you.
Services
I realize that no two people are the same and as such tailor my therapy to meet the specific needs of my clients.
Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression or any other issue, I will help you recognize underlying problems, fully realize your strengths and adjust certain behaviors and thoughts to see things a different, healthier way.
Is anxiety taking over your life?
Does it feel like you can't control it no matter how hard you try? Have you already tried therapy but found it ineffective?
If this sounds like you, I'm confident I can help.
My practice offers the most effective forms of treatment, to get the relief from anxiety that you deserve.
When it comes to treating anxiety disorders, research shows that therapy is usually the most effective option.
That's because anxiety therapy - as opposed to anxiety medication - treats more than just symptoms to the problem.
If you have had any variation of these thoughts and don't feel like your usual self, chances are you may be suffering from depression.
I want you to know that you are not alone and there are people who can help.
Many of my clients find relief in realizing that their struggle does not own them and that there are many options available to once again have hope for their lives.
I understand the social stigmas that come with label of being depressed, and thus aim to help clients sort out their environmental, biological and circumstantial factors while offering support and care through a very dark time in their lives.
Stress is a very familiar feeling to most people.
When you feel it, you know it.
The feeling of your heart pounding, your hands shaking, the feeling of heat in your cheeks, the sweat, difficulty concentrating.
While most people would agree that this is not a pleasant feeling, stress exists to help us.
You can probably think of times when stress has been helpful and has driven you to some level of success.
You might have even felt driven by it.
However, you may also have experienced feeling blocked by stress.
As a First Responder you have one of the hardest and most stressful professions in the world.
Being a First Responder is a difficult job and you are asked to wear many hats while knowing that it can sometimes be thankless.
There are many feelings that can arise from doing something so important but also coming to terms of how does my job affect me and my loved ones.
Stress from not getting the organizational support that you feel is needed.
Stress from dealing with your own issues in addition to the problems of the people you serve.
