As healthcare providers we are committed to our community and we are continuing to offer individual, couples, and family counseling through the use of telemental health (TMH). We are also conducting in-person session at all three locations. Availability for in-person sessions is determined by counselor preference and contingent on following appropriate safety guidelines.

Both clients and clinicians must be symptom-free to attend in-person and sessions are conducted with masks regardless of vaccination status. Counseling Services of Greater Boston in an outpatient mental health center offering therapy services to individuals, couples, and families in the Boston area and surrounding communities. We opened our Wakefield office in 2012, our Georgetown office in 2017, and our Tyngsboro office in 2020.

We are dedicated to providing our clients with a variety of therapeutic options to ensure that they will always receive the most effective individualized treatment possible. Through creating art and reflecting on the art products and processes, people can increase awareness of self and others, cope with symptoms, stress and traumatic experiences; enhance cognitive abilities; and enjoy the life-affirming pleasures.

Sessions are focused on cultivating an empathetic, non-judgemental environment where your goals and needs can be attended to through reflection and exploration of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
Couples counseling is intended for people in relationship who are seeking guidance and support around areas of challenge and conflict.
Family therapy is an opportunity for members of the family to come together in a safe, neutral zone and collaborate to work through problematic family patterns.
Telemental Health refers to psychotherapy services that occur via phone, email, or synchronous video conferencing.

Founded in 2012 by Dana Venable and Kristen Radlinski, CSGB first opened its doors in Wakefield, MA.
What started out as one small office, and a few clients, quickly expanded.
In 2017 CSGB opened its second office in Georgetown, and in 2020, a third office in Tyngsboro.
CSGB is managed by Dana Venable, Amanda Bruce, and Nova Carmichael.
CSGB is dedicated to building collaborative relationships with service providers in the area including pediatric offices and schools.

Counseling Services of Greater Boston accepts commercial plans from the following carriers: AllWays, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Evernorth (formerly Cigna), Harvard Pilgrim, Tufts, and United Healthcare.
We accept private pay clients in the event that we are not in network with your insurance carrier.
We take most major credit cards, checks, cash and health savings accounts as forms of payment.
