Services
Play is the most developmentally appropriate medium for a child's healthy brain development while also helping to process difficult experiences, learn social skills, self-regulate and build attachment relationships.
Since play is the natural language of children, it gives them opportunity to express their emotions symbolically, making the connection between abstract and concrete thoughts, learn coping skills and build their self confidence.
Attachment influences all stages of development and shapes the way a child relates to the world.

My personal faith is integrated in my counseling process which is from a Biblical worldview.
I firmly believes that our most pure form of hope is found in Christ.
Be assured that I will work with you with respect and humility, no matter your religious, ethnic or cultural background.
I approach counseling from a cognitive-behavioral perspective and surmise that many behaviors are a direct result of thoughts, emotions and environmental influences.
I received a Master of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake in 1992 and in 1999 became a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas with supervisor status.

Passing on my experiences in various counseling settings, exploring the myriad of counseling theories and techniques, moving from triage to termination, case reviews, emphasizing ethical practices and the process of building a private practice are a few of the areas we will focus on in supervision sessions.
If you have established employment, client base access and your own office space, then I may be an option for your supervision.
