Dr. Johnson believes that counseling can help people to make significant, positive changes in their lives. The therapy process allows individuals to develop a better understanding of their actions, thoughts, and feelings. This exploration allows individuals to make changes in their lives to improve in numerous areas. Each individual has a unique history and specific way of interacting with the world, and different approaches can be tailored to each person's set of needs.

Dr. Johnson uses a variety of methods to make each client's experience both unique and productive. Sometimes just 2-3 sessions can be very effective at targeting a specific area of concern (for example: improving self-esteem after some rough months at work) and other times, individuals choose to work for a longer period of time on more complex or difficult issues (such as ongoing relationship problems, unhealthy thought patterns, or disruptive and painfully intense emotions).

Appointments are currently available on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays.
