At Rise Up Counseling, PLLC, we want to give you a safe space to help you find your inner strength to overcome life's hardships. Through guidance, encouragement and self-exploration, therapy can help you to rise up and be the best you. Are you ready for a change? You have completed the first task of looking into services. We are ready to help guide you through this if you are.

At Rise Up Counseling, PLLC, all our Clinicians are Master Level Counselors and dedicated to helping you change your life. At Rise Up Counseling, PLLC, we believe the therapy session is a space for privacy and exploration. For this reason, we do not accept insurance as it tends to invite a third party into the room. Each counselor accepts private pay and sets their own rate.

Some clients can be considered for sliding scale fees depending on their situation.
Services
Through individual counseling, we can work together to sort through your thoughts and behaviors that might be hindering you from rising up and being your best self.
One-on-one counseling will provide a safe space to discuss your issues and come up with solutions to make a difference in your life.
We can work with Pre-teens, Teens, Adults, and Couples.
Group counseling is a space where you can create a dialogue on specific topics with others and create a support system with people while rising up and improving yourself.
As far back as I can remember, I have been intrigued by questions of what makes people who they are and what might be holding them back from being truly great.
This curiosity led me to a career in helping others to discover themselves and to rise up through life's struggles.
I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the University of North Texas.
I then received my Master's degree in Counseling from Southern Methodist University with dual licensure of Licensed Professional Counseling and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapy.
I hold a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Family and Child Development.
I am a National Board-Certified Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor Associate.
I am supervised by Britney Watson, MS, LPC-S.
With my prior experience working at the Children's Advocacy Center in Bastrop, I have specialized experience helping individuals navigate and grow from their trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and anger management.
If you are seeking a supervisor, that means you have put in the hard work to becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Supervision is the most important part of your new journey as a LPC-Associate.
It is imperative that you find a supervisor who is cohesive with you as a new professional.
My approach to supervision is a journey that we will both embark on.
As your supervisor, I will help you develop your skills, encourage you to be your best self as a therapist and guide you through the new experiences of being a counselor.
All trainings are provided within correctional settings and are compliant with the Texas Juvenile Justice Department standards.
