To help you gain self awareness and develop insight to move beyond negative beliefs and behaviors. Sandra A. Dyer, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 26 years of experience. Ms. Dyer has a BA in Psychology from Hunter College a Masters of Social Work (MSW) from Delaware State University. She enjoys working with individuals, couples, families, and groups to find a safe haven from the storms of life.

She will help to identify those limiting beliefs and antiquated coping mechanisms that may be blocking emotional growth and well being. Ms. Dyer brings her unique style and sensitivity to the therapeutic environment through her academic training, life experiences, and culture.
Services
Designed to teach children age-appropriate interaction skills with their peers while fostering and maintaining self confidence that will translate to real-world experiences and relationships.
Highly interactive group sessions that serve to provide teens with an opportunity to discuss a variety of topics, such a family relationships, friendships, peer pressure, suicide, bullying, self-esteem, future goals, dating, and sexuality.
Individuals are encouraged to share their experiences and learn from one another.
Port in the Storm (PTS) provides comprehensive counseling services for individuals, families, couples, and groups on a variety of mental health issues, including: low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, parent/child communication, marital/couple conflicts, and much more.
At PTS, we can help you recognize problems and identify possible solutions or alternatives to live a happier, more productive life.
