Amy Mullervy is a licensed independent practitioner who provides counseling services for anxiety, clinical depression, relationship issues, and life events such as divorce, work stress, and bereavement. She received an A.B. from Brown University in language studies, and an MSW from U. Conn. Her work experience has been in clinical private practice settings and systems consultation.

She believes that good treatment consists of establishing excellent communication and trust in a secure environment, and pinpointing cognitive, behavioral and emotional roadblocks to optimum well-being and functioning. Next is a joint process of working to remove "stuck points" and monitoring progress together. Amy believes that humor and engagement are a part of that process.

She has extensive knowledge of medical and family issues, as well as an on-going fascination with peoples' mastery of life events. She also has post-masters training and experience in treating adolescent and adult ADD and ADHD. In conclusion Amy adds, "I believe my patients would describe me as a good listener, warm, non-judgmental and sincerely concerned."
