We work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues. In a supportive atmosphere, we offer a personal, gentle approach working alongside each of our clients listening closely to their needs in order to help attain the personal growth they're striving for. Eric's primary focus is creating a safe environment that allows individuals and couples to find solutions for the challenges in their life.
Described as possessing a keen intuition, deep sensitivity, ever-present empathy, and a natural ability to put people at ease, Eric could not imagine a more satisfying vocation than coming alongside people and working together to change painful patterns in their life.
Working with teens, individuals, and couples, Eric specializes in treating Depression and Anxiety, PTSD and Trauma, Suicidal Ideation and Self-Harm, Couples, Men's Issues, Identity Formation (personal, sexual, spiritual), Family of Origin, Grief, and Phobias.
With clinical experience beginning in 2004, Eric has worked as a Clinical Supervisor and Program Supervisor for the Foster Care and Intensive Treatment Foster Care programs at Five Acres in Pasadena, and as a Clinical Care/Crisis Manager for the undergraduate and graduate students at Azusa Pacific University.

For some, it is an easily recognizable event, or chain of events, that left a deep, hard-to-heal wound -- perhaps a catastrophe like an earthquake, a violent action, a sudden loss, working as a first responder, or serving in a war overseas.
We call those "Big T" traumas because they are well-defined, external incidents we are able to pinpoint without much hesitation.
For others, however, trauma is a fuzzier affair.
Maybe an interaction we had as children left our self-confidence permanently scarred; perhaps we were the victims of emotional abuse at the hands of a parent or caretaker; we may have been repeatedly sexually harassed or assaulted; we may not even remember clearly what happened to us.
