The Friendship House Counseling Clinic was launched in July of 2017 in response to the growing need for high-quality bilingual services within our diverse community of Hall County and across the state of Nebraska.

The mission of the Friendship House Halfway House is to provide a therapeutic living environment for adult men recovering from substance abuse to aid in the transition to the next phase of their recovery.
Research indicates that in order for long-term gains to be sustained, individuals often need a minimum of 90-120 days with intense supports to prevent them from falling back into old patterns of behavior.
To that end, the Friendship House has dedicated nearly 53 years to providing housing and programming specifically designed to teach our men how to effectively live a productive life free from the negative influences of drugs and alcohol.

Tracee is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC).
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Bethany College and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Counseling from Bellevue University.
Previous to joining the Friendship House, Ms. Franssen has experience working with youth at BoysTown through the Intervention and Assessment Shelter, as well as gained experience working in outpatient mental health and substance abuse therapy in the Grand Island area.
