Many people seek out therapists but only walk away disappointed. They often comment that they felt like the therapist listened, but they didn't offer much more than that. Our clients tell us they want guidance and insight into their problems, but they want more than hand holding and a metaphorical pat on the back! Sometimes they want plain and simple practical advice and someone to tell them when they are heading in the wrong direction.

Our therapists are trained to help you see deeply into your life but also offer you straight forward advice when you want it. We will do more than hold your hand and say, "I understand". We will speak to you openly and honestly and challenge you in ways others won't so that you leave feeling more clear and empowered to live your life and become the best possible version of yourself.

Brandon Wall, LMFT is passionate about helping individuals and couples experience lasting change.
He is described by his clients as having the ability to be a straightforward counselor while also being fully compassionate, down to earth, and working at the client's pace.
My passion in life is helping as many couples as I can to thrive.
If that is you, you have come to right place.
I've been serving the Ames and Des Monies Iowa area for over 20 years.
My specialty is couples and marriage counseling, though I also see individuals too.
I've heard, literally, thousands of stories.
My clients have taught me what works and doesn't work.
And, most important, I'm not afraid to share it with you.
You can come in with your spouse or by yourself.
Either way, I will work with you to help you get out of the weeds and get back on the right track.
That is a question I often hear.
I understand that change can be scary which makes it difficult; we don't want to abandon ourselves to become something unknown.
Instead, I encourage people to "grow."
Growing is a process that is familiar to us, we are just working to become better, stronger, happier and emotionally healthier.
Yes, we can work together to help you grow.
I enjoy meeting with individuals (both adults and teens) and couples to help them discover their path to emotional health.
Emotionally healthy people have a wide variety of emotions (not all of them pleasant).
Many of us struggle in life because we get stuck in destructive habits and patterns that once were useful to us at one time but have since become problematic.
Brandon seeks to help his clients to uncover the emotional patterns that keep you from reaching your goals.
If there's one thing you need to know about me is that I am passionate about helping as many people as I possibly can.
I am not the type of therapist that just sits there and says, "And how did that make you feel" over and over again (though sometimes I might!).
