Struggling with depression, low self-esteem, anger issues, or a general sense of dissatisfaction with your life? Individual counseling provides a compassionate space to discover your potential freedom from fear, from anxiety, and from depression. Couples counseling is designed to help those involved in an intimate relationship develop stronger skills surrounding communication, support, and self-awareness.

Couples counseling must be a "soft place to land", a safe place to find their way back to each other. If you are struggling with substance abuse you are not alone. I have extensive experience helping people struggling with addiction. I work with individuals, as well as with families dealing with issues surrounding addiction. Addiction is a family disease.

Family therapy is a wonderful tool to strengthen family communication and a loving space to explore family stressors. In order for family therapy to be effective it is critical that all family members attend. Ms. Linfoot is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor.
Services
I have been passionate about helping people for as long as I can remember.
Those who know me would describe me as compassionate and loving, yet extremely directive.
I believe in collaborative engagement.
It is my great honor to have the opportunity to sit with others in their darkness, to be fully present with another during self-exploration, and to help guide individuals, couples and families toward love, toward compassion, toward forgiveness, toward grace, and ultimately toward the home that is their heart and soul.
I believe each client is unique and enters therapy with individual needs, and as such, I adjust my clinical approach to meet the needs of each client.
I am, however, a firm believer in Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Positive Psychology.
I believe it is not what happens to us, but rather what our thoughts tell us about what is happening, that ultimately causes us suffering.
Our perceptions determine our thoughts and our behaviors.
I believe that spirituality, not to be confused with any particular religion, is extremely important to our emotional evolution.
