You've already taken the first step in creating the life you want by coming here. I specialize in working with adults just like you who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I am certified in trauma treatment and trained in the use of a wide variety of methods to get you the results you want in less time than you might think.

I offer services by secure televideo (*Texas residents only) as well as in person and use a completely electronic records system that allows you to view and sign documents as well as manage your schedule with me all via my secure portal 24/7.Depression is a serious but very treatable condition. Anyone can become depressed if the circumstances are right but if you're someone who's had a lot of trauma or have a family history of depression, you're at greater risk.

Left untreated, depression can leave you feeling empty, hopeless, and isolated from others. It can take away your all of your joy and passion for life. But this doesn't have to happen. You can feel like yourself again.
Services
I was the fifth child born to a single Mom, who was divorced from my Dad when I was two.
We were a blended family although we never used that term.
Times were hard but I didn't realize how hard until I was an adult.
When we first moved to Austin in 1970, we lived in a crime- and drug-infested, lower income apartment complex.
I was only six.
I thought everyone had lawn furniture instead of couches and chairs in their living room like we did and that everyone's older brothers dug toys out of the dumpster for their little sisters like mine did.
Are you lying awake at night worrying about and replaying the events of the day over and over?
Has anger turned you into someone you don't recognize anymore?
Having lots of headaches or stomach issues that just won't go away?
Depression can be exquisitely painful and isolating.
You might feel like you're all alone and no one understands what you're going through.
You may feel like you're a burden to others or that you've let people down.
At its worst, you might even feel hopeless or think that you and others would be better off if you weren't around anymore.
Do you constantly feel on edge and unable to relax?
Are you having sudden, explosive fits of anger?
Are you finding yourself avoiding people, loud noises, or situations that remind you of something bad that happened in your past?
Are nightmares and your racing heart keeping you awake at night?
These are some common signs of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
PTSD often starts slowly and you might only remember pieces of what happened.
You may start avoiding little things at first like talking or thinking about it.
Do you find yourself feeling extremely nervous or worried out of nowhere?
Are you having trouble sleeping or relaxing because you just can't stop worrying?
Have you stopped going places or doing the things you need or want to do because you're afraid you'll have an anxiety or panic attack?
Do you often have knots in your stomach or sweaty/shaky hands?
You might notice that it's become hard to fall or stay asleep at night.
You find yourself replaying the events of the day over and over, worrying about whether or not you did everything "right" and what tomorrow will bring.
Go through the Gattis School Road intersection, pass Gino's Pizza on your right and the Shipley Do-nuts on your left.
Travel south on S. Mays Street, cross Mays Crossing, pass Main Street, pass the La Michoacana Mexican Market on your right.
Turn right into the parking lot of the Round Rock Executive Building (right next to La Michoacana).
