I am Nicole French. I have been a counselor for the last 10 years and have worked with some of the most diverse clients helping them to find a path toward health and mental wellness. For some this has looked like freeing themselves from old hurts, finding value in themselves again or possibly for the first time, setting healthy boundaries in various types of relationships, learning skills to manage specific symptoms like anxiety or depression, and building achievable goals in all areas of their lives.
I believe that each client is unique and I am skilled at weaving in strategies that will work for you and help you achieve your goals especially utilizing Eye Movement, Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) or parts work. Other areas that influence my style of therapy include Gottman method couples therapy, cognitive behavioral strategies, attachment theory and strengths based therapy.
I am authentic and real when I walk into a session and encourage you to do the same.

You may have already identified goals for self-improvement that you'd like to sort through, or maybe you are not yet able to articulate anything beyond your desire to alleviate a general discomfort, soreness, pain or paralyses you feel in one or more areas of your life.
It is OK to enter counseling with more questions than answers!
