At Little Seed Counseling, we help people get out of their own way so they can live the full and meaningful life they deserve. Our therapist, Jena Plummer, offers counseling for individuals and couples dealing with addiction, codependency, trauma, grief and those who are struggling with infertility. She is LGBTQ, BLM, sex-positive and HAES affirming.
We believe all individuals are born with both a "being" and a "knowing. As we grow, emphasis is placed on "doing" and we lose sight of who we are, what we need and how we connect with others. We help people get back to that core knowledge of self that has been lost. We help people get out of their own way and get back "home". We are trauma informed, LGBTQ, BLM and fat friendly, and HAES affirming.
Addiction is devastating to the entire family system. Early recovery, specifically, is very difficult to navigate alone. We help those with substance use problems and their loved ones. While codependency is possible within relationships with people who don't have substance use disorders, codependency is a common occurrence for family members and loved ones of addicts.

Life is a lot like gardening.
No matter how intentional we are about keeping things neat and tidy, it gets messy sometimes!
Like gardeners, we are tasked with carefully tending to seeds of possibility with self-compassion, nurture, and patience.
We don't often see the fruits of our labor right away; however, steady and consistent attention creates beautiful blooms.
