When you're dealing with a little "rain" in your life, you may be able to cope with it on your own or with the help of friends and family. Wouldn't it be nice if life only gave you challenges you could handle, if it gave you any challenges at all? But life doesn't always work that way. When you're facing one or more challenges you don't know how to cope with, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and stuck - maybe even hopeless.
Some storms are emotional, when you get battered by moods like depression, hopelessness, anxiety or anger. At such times your mind gets flooded with upsetting thoughts. As if that's not enough, there are also the challenges of everyday life, incluing job stress, financial struggles, and health concerns - just to name a few. When difficulties such as these last for extended periods of time, they can be like gloomy, cloudy weather in your life that blocks out the sun.
If your current challenges are intense, it may even feel like you're caught up in a hurricane. Despite your best efforts, you may not know how to deal with your current challenges.

The side effects of these drugs concern them, and they don't want to depend on medication to feel better.
