The North Hills Counseling Office of Innovative Therapy Pittsburgh is a behavioral health counseling and psychotherapy practice, based in the northern suburbs of Pittsburgh servicing the communities of Ross, West View, Perrysville, McCandless, North Allegheny, and the greater Pittsburgh area. Individual counseling can help one deal with many personal topics in life such as anger, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, marriage and relationship challenges, parenting problems, school difficulties, career changes etc. Family counseling is often sought due to a life change or stress negatively affecting one or all areas of family closeness, family structure (rules and roles) or communication style.

I am a licensed clinical social worker with a wide range of clinical experience, including working with foster children/adoption, crisis services, and traditional outpatient services.
I want to help my clients find relief from depression and anxiety and find better ways to deal with life stressors.
I work with clients to explore the ways that their stressors impact their lives and increase self-awareness to improve the client's ability to see patterns of behaviors and thoughts.
My goal is to create a space free of judgement where the client can engage in true introspection.

We are also providers for EAP networks including UPMC WorkPartners/ LifeSolutions, American Behavioral, and AllOne Health.

The Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) is a person who evaluates employees who have violated a DOT drug and alcohol program regulation and makes recommendations concerning education, treatment, follow-up testing, and aftercare.
We will provide initial assessment, follow-up assessments, and case management to assist with the process.
Complete an alcohol & drug evaluation performed by a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP)- this will include a clinical interview, records review, and/or collection of information from collateral sources.
