Meet the team that carries out our mission to enrich the lives of those in recovery by compassionately delivering evidence-based treatment programs in a diverse and inspiring environment that creates a safe place for healing. In her role at Eden Counseling Centers, Dr. Bell develops and oversees client medical treatment plans.

Dr. Bell obtained her medical degree from the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (Athens, Ohio), Psychiatry training at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center (Columbus, Ohio), and her B.A. in History with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Memphis (Memphis, Tennessee).Dr. Bell is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, American Osteopathic Association, Ohio Osteopathic Association, National Medical Association, and the Eden Counseling Centers Board of Directors.

A Native of Cleveland, Ohio, Thomas J. Teague Jr. attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, where he earned his B.A. in Social Work and his Master's degree in Clinical Counseling.
Services
In support of holistic healing and well-being, Ancillary Services offer clients additional activities and services to complement their primary treatment plan.
Eden Counseling Centers recognizes clients that successfully complete the intensive outpatient or the outpatient program on a monthly basis.
Clients that successfully complete the program are encouraged to remain active with with 12 step and other sober support networks.
Eden Counseling Centers recognizes that being in recovery is a life-long journey.
Our behavioral health specialists promote the treatment of mental and substance use disorders by supporting those who experience and/or are in recovery from these conditions, along with their families and communities.
Clients are offered a vast array of treatment options to favor resilience and well-being.
When both emotional and substance use disorders co-exist, the model of treatment is known as dual diagnosis treatment.
Our comprehensive adult therapy services include individual and group counseling, along with medication management.
Nurturing Moms is designed to end the harmful patterns of maternal substance use disorder by providing evidence-based treatment services, offering stable sober housing, reinforcing pre- and post-natal care, establishing a safe sober support network, and encouraging family stabilization.
With the proper tools and support, mothers can improve understanding of thinking errors to promote healthy decision-making.
Eden recognizes that many women struggling with maternal substance use disorder also suffer from a co-occurring mental health disorder.
As an integral part of our treatment services, individuals are offered sober housing opportunities once they reach 21 days of sobriety and remain compliant with the program agreement, treatment goals, and house rules.
Too many times well-intentioned individuals get into recovery only to find themselves unable to sustain their progress because they return to the living environment that gave birth to and/or reinforced their problems.
Our sober housing program is designed to build a foundation in a stable environment that supports recovery, oppose to relapse.
During National Recovery Month, Eden Counseling Centers hosts its annual "Walk for Recovery" to enhance awareness and understanding of mental health and substance use disorders, while celebrating those in recovery.
In addition to raising community conscious, the goal of the "Walk for Recovery" is to support the lives of those who have been affected by mental health, alcohol, and drug disorders in a healthy and fun environment.
In 2019, 4,028 people died in Ohio of unintentional drug overdoses, which was a 7% increase over 2018, according to the Ohio Department of Health.
