Mindful Way Counseling
At Mindful Way Counseling we serve the Twin Cities community with compassionate, inclusive mental health counseling services. We believe in the wisdom of our clients as whole, strong, resilient people. We respect all individuals as being worthy of dignity and happiness. We are passionate about honoring and celebrating every individual with a culturally responsive and trauma informed approach.

We welcome everyone from all walks of life including all ages, ethnicities, religions, races, sexual orientations, genders, and gender identities. Are you or your child having difficult or challenging emotions or behaviors that make your day-to-day life hard to manage on your own? We are also in network with most MNSure, MNCare, and Medical Assistance Plans.

However, please note that we are unfortunately not providers with Medicare Plans at this time. There may be slight variations based on each of our therapists within the clinic. We will notify you upon your request for an intake appointment if your therapist of choice can work with your insurance plan.

Candace Anderson, MSW, LGSW enjoys working with Individual Adults who are working through life transitions or challenges, including people who have been experiencing worry, nervousness, sadness, hopelessness, and grief.
If you are feeling anxious, depressed, having panic attacks, increased stress, or a difficult life transition, we can help!
We offer individual therapy for people throughout the lifespan, including adults, teens, and young children.
We offer a variety of mental health counseling services to meet your individual needs.

Individual therapy is a collaborative experience between you and your therapist.
This practice has been shown to help with all of those things and more!
Our therapists use mindfulness in therapy to help you reach and maintain your therapy goals.
Mindfulness has been researched and shown beneficial for chronic pain, illness (cancer), depression, anxiety, chronic health issues, anxiety, panic attacks, PTSD, and more.
It has a wide array of benefits and can be easily integrated into your life through the guidance of your therapist.
These benefits have even been shown on fMRI scans and EEG gets.
We understand that all teens have unique strengths and struggles.
We also know that you want to do what is best for your child.
Despite any current challenges, we feel that all teens want to find ways to feel and do well.
Sometimes they just need a little help.
Teen counseling can be just what adolescents need.
At Mindful Way Counseling we have trained clinicians who provide expert care in counseling for teens.
The adolescent years are a particularly vulnerable time for many people.
We believe that counseling does not have to be reserved for a crisis.
