The Knoxville Mindful Wellness Center's mission is to reduce psychological suffering through training clients in evidence-based mindfulness interventions. Our specialists are experienced in the use of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Therapies which help clients reduce emotional suffering, clarify life direction, and move toward meaning in their life.

Knoxville Mindful Wellness Center offers a multitude of services to fit your needs. Offerings range from mindfulness-based psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults and families as well as classes and workshops.
Services
Our therapists will work with you using evidence-based interventions to reduce the struggle with uncomfortable thoughts, feelings, and memories, clarify life-purpose, and engage in patterns of meaningful action.
Mindfulness-based psychotherapy helps you get "unstuck" from worries, forgive yourself for past regrets, increase your ability to connect meaningfully with others, and aids in your capacity to respond positively to negative events in your life.
Helping your teen reduce impact of negative thoughts/feelings and maintain positive behavior.
Bethany Genrich, LCSW graduated from the University of Arkansas In Little Rock, Arkansas in 2009 with her Masters degree in Social Work.
She is certified as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker by the Tennessee Board of Social Workers.
She helps clients reduce the struggle with uncomfortable thoughts, feelings, memories and physiological sensations while promoting conscious, meaningful living.
Bethany specializes in treating anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, eating disorders, behavioral management of chronic pain, and trauma-related problems.
Courtney Ferguson is a Licensed Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service Provider designation.
She is certified by the Tennessee Board of Professional Counselors and Marriage and Family Therapists.
Courtney graduated from Carson-Newman University with a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and has experience working with clients across the lifespan.
In practice, Courtney has a client-centered approach and utilizes a collaboration of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including: play therapy, trauma-focused techniques, mindfulness, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
Joanna Peck, Licensed Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service Provider Designation, earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology at the University of Virginia's college at Wise.
She then began actively pursuing her career in mental health with case management working with individuals with intellectual disability in the Appalachia area.
In 2017, Joanna graduated with a Master of Education in mental health counseling from Lincoln Memorial University.
While in this program, she worked in a residential facility with children and adolescents with severe mental illness as well as a an addiction's recovery center.
Eden is a Licensed Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service Provider designation.
Eden graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, minoring in Child and Family Studies in 2014.
She then decided to move to South Florida to earn her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in 2017.
Eden worked in outpatient treatment working with co-occuring disorders and persistent mental illness with the homeless population, and eventually returned back to East Tennessee in 2019 in hopes to give back to her local community and hometown area.
