Services
Since 1998 We have been serving the Knoxville Area by offering quality counseling services from a Christian Perspective.
Our Christian perspective informs the way we work, as well as how we see our work.
Life has many challenges.
Facing them often leads to anxiety, depression, anger, troubled relationships, and spiritual confusion.
Determining the root of these conditions, whether internally or externally caused, can be difficult.
Counseling can be an effective way of gaining a new perspective, providing emotional support, or learning about your situation with a professional who has worked with others in similar circumstances.
We offer a variety of services for individuals who are interested in pursuing counseling services at Ebenezer Counseling Services.
Our counselors work with a wide range of people and we offer services for a variety of issues.
Marriage counseling, or couples counseling, has as its ultimate goal the healing, strengthening and development of healthy marriages.
Marriage therapy is for any couple that may be going through a difficult season and needs some help to work out their problems.
It is also for those couples who marriage is overall doing well, and could just use a tune-up or some enrichment.
Below you will find a brief introduction to our counselors including the areas of therapy in which they specialize.
At Ebenezer, all counselors work from the foundation of their Christian faith and worldview.
Our counselors are either licensed, or are in supervision as they work toward state licensure.
As an element of licensure as well as commitment to quality services, our counselors pursue continuing education on an ongoing basis.

Every counselor brings a view of the world, how it works, what is right, and what is wrong.
Every counselor has underlying values.
Though counselors are trained to be professional, attentive, and focused on the client's issues, their values do influence the therapeutic process.
At Ebenezer, our core values are based on the foundation of the Judeo-Christian scriptures and our living relationship with God through Christ.
The statement referenced below will help you understand how the Christian faith is worked out in the counseling relationship.
This policy is in place to honor and protect your therapist's income.
At ECS, your therapist is paid a percentage of the revenue their work here generates.
If you were to not show or if you cancel late, your therapist would be here and ready to go, but he or she would not be paid anything (nor is Ebenezer for that matter).
Many people assume that their therapist gets paid just for being here.
That is not the case.
Your therapist only gets paid when the session is actually paid for.
So, late cancellations are very costly to your therapist.
