Jana has a Bachelor's Degree in Education and Art from the University of North Texas and a Graduate Degree in Counseling from Sam Houston State University, with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy.

She holds certificates in Advanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Clinical Hypnotherapy, and has specialized training in child and adolescent behavioral therapy, play therapy, and crisis response. Jana is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).

Jana Briggs and her associates offer Comprehensive Counseling Services for children, adolescents and adults ages 6 to elders.
With six clinical offices -including a brand-new play therapy/adolescent activity room- they can also offer simultaneous session times for parents and students.
Each therapy space has its own personality that students and adults of all ages will find attractive and comfortable.
With an expansive waiting area, study tables, coffee bar and WIFI.clients will enjoy their time at the office.

I am considered an out-of-network provider (private practitioner), and many insurance carriers offer out-of-network benefits for counseling sessions.
You are responsible for paying the full amount of your session when you come, and then you get reimbursed directly from your insurance company.
2. What questions should I ask my insurance company when I call to find out if I have Out-of-Network benefits and/or mental health coverage?
I am considered an out-of-network provider (private practitioner), and many insurance carriers offer out-of-network benefits for counseling sessions.

If appropriate, Jana will offer phone and/or FaceTime sessions for established clients.
