Life can be overwhelming, and sometimes we need help to heal from past hurts, or adjust to life's challenges. Counseling can help you sort through these feelings and give you a new perspective on those life challenges. Through counseling you can find the joy of life you once had, or wish you had. Counseling can make a dramatic difference in your health, happiness, outlook, and quality of life.

Sara's gentle, sensitive and compassionate nature combined with professional training, experience, and life experience enable her to help adults and children live fuller, healthier and happier lives. Sara uses a respectful, relaxed, non-judgemental approach to help clients cope and obtain the healing they desire. She uses an eclectic approach which may include cognitive behavioral therapy, talk therapy, emotional freedom technique, and play therapy (for children).

A licensed social worker (LMSW or LCSW) is often referred to as a therapist or mental health counselor. They provide counseling which is also known as psychotherapy or just therapy.
