The purpose of life is to discover joy and to live a full and vibrant life. When mind, body, and spirit are connected life flows. When there is disharmony we experience it in a myriad of uncomfortable ways, such as depression, anxiety, odd behaviors and more. My goal is to help you discover what you already know is within you. Mental Health Therapist Meg Segal is located in Bozeman, Montana.

Specializing in Life Transitions, Anxiety Relief, Stress Management, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Premarital Counseling, and Anger Management. Meg's loving and accepting approach to counseling has made her a local's favorite. Her counseling techniques include premarital counseling, mindfulness training, EMDR, and cognitive behavioral education.

She views emotional unbalance as "dis-ease" rather than disease. Her approach is heart centered and non-judgmental.
Services
I was raised in the Rocky Mountains and have deep connection with the wild.
I earned my undergraduate degree in English Literature from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado and my Master's degree in Counseling from Montana State University.
I interned with Livingston Mental Health where I counselied people with chronic mental illness.
I then worked in Bozeman for Thrive- Resources for Montana Parents as a family support worker and as a Parent Liaison.
I have been in Private Practice for over 15 years.
I work hard to create a safe place where people can let down their walls and be vulnerable to their own thoughts and feelings.
I do this using a variety of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Somatic Experience, outdoor activities, and creative processing.
I believe that everyone innately knows what is best for them, but that knowledge sometimes gets lost by our personal experiences.
It is my job to help you find that knowledge and learn how to listen to it in the present and future.
