Colorado Counseling Professionals is a group practice focused on providing mental health and personal counseling. We currently have two therapists, Doug Smith, Ph. D. and Patricia Mathews, Ph. D. Both Dr. Smith and Dr. Mathews have over twenty years of experience in the field of mental health and have worked in a variety of professional settings. Our practice provides services for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.
We accept both a variety of insurance plans and private pay and we also provide assistance with billing. Colorado Counseling Professionals has two locations. One of our locations is in Castle Rock, just off Plum Creek Parkway and I-25 and convenient to Founders, the Meadows, Castle Pines, Larkspur, Monument and Elizabeth. We also have a location near C-470 on University Boulevard in Centennial.

Services provided include; crisis intervention, assessment, diagnosis, facilitation of psychiatric consult orders, case conferences with unit staff/MD/psychiatrist, organization and execution of transferring patients to psychiatric or detox settings.
