My psychotherapy practice is designed to help individuals and couples create the life or relationship they truly desire. My approach is both heart-centered and empowering. I seek to provide an intuitive, intelligent, non-judgmental, compassionate therapeutic space for individuals or couples to gain insight and work through difficult challenges. Regardless of the struggles you face, therapy is an essential tool in promoting positive change and healing emotional wounds.

When provided well, therapy becomes one of the most valuable investments of your life because it provides the foundation for creating a more peaceful and fulfilling existence. Thank you for seeing me when nobody else could. For understanding me, for your unwavering support, guidance and love. I have said this before and I will remind you, I am so thankful to have met you and to be on my healing and growth journey with you, someone who cares so deeply and devotes themselves to helping others create the life they desire.

I really can't adequately put into words how much I love and appreciate you for everything you do.
Services
Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I spent ten years working in corporate marketing and elementary education.
However my life-long interest in psychology compelled me to change careers and for the past 18 years I have dedicated myself to providing counseling for individuals and couples as well as to working on my own personal growth.
I understand first-hand the experience of transformation and change that therapy can provide.
I feel this process has allowed me to more effectively help others move toward greater satisfaction in their relationships, lives and careers.
My style of therapy can best be described as integrative, as I draw from many treatment modalities, based on the individual needs of each client.
Generally speaking, I favor a mind-body approach to psychotherapy which provides clients with practical, concrete tools to break patterns of behavior that no longer serve them in their life.
I am Committed to serving a diverse community of people.
One modality I incorporate in my approach is somatic therapy.
This body-oriented psychotherapy encourages and facilitates communication and connection between the mind, the emotions, and the body.
In couples work, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space in order for each person to feel heard, understood and seen.
My work focuses on improving communication and resolving individual issues that interfere with your relationship.
Couples learn how prior relationships/life experiences keep individuals "stuck" in destructive patterns of interaction which produce difficulty in their partnership.
As a Certified Level II PACT Therapist(Pscychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy) I will help partners regulate each other's emotions; maintain secure bonds; and foster positive, enduring relationships.
