Cultivation Counseling is the leading Mental Health Clinic in Boise, Idaho. We offer proactive, quality mental healthcare in a safe and comfortable environment. Cultivation Counseling provides services to children, adolescents, teens, young adults, adults, couples, and families. Counseling is tailored to meet the needs of each individual. We offer services for Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Autism Spectrum (Asperger's Disorder), Mood Disorders, Thought Disorders, Relationship Issues, Health Issues, Work Related Issues, and Transitional Issues. Our clinicians offer a free initial 30 minute consultation to allow you to become comfortable, discuss goals and learn about counseling.

Cultivation IOP provides the ability to continue with normal, daily life while establishing support systems, help with relapse management, and provide coping strategies through evidenced-based modalities.
Cultivation IOP is carefully designed for those with co-occuring disorders, those with substance abuse concerns, and also underlying conditions.
Mental health research recognizes that untreated conditions such as depression and anxiety can lead to addictions and other self-harming behaviors.
A group setting improves quality of life by increasing socialization, improving daily functioning, and increasing self-esteem, leading to an increase of management of symptoms and a decrease of stress and anxiety.
Amanda Stewart is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
Amanda is able to prescribe and manage psychiatric medications and use brief solution focused therapies.
Amanda's approach to pharmacotherapy is judicious and thoughtful, and can work with clients ages 14 and up.
Additionally, Amanda credentialed with most major commercial insurance panels.
Cultivation believes a person's mind, body, spirit, emotions, and environment are interconnected and influence lived experience.
Our team offers Low and High Complexity assessments for all ages.
Additionally, we provide individual therapy, and group therapy for a wide range of sensory processing and modulation, gross motor, fine-motor and visual-motor difficulties.
Low Complexity Assessments include a clinical interview with client, consultation with parent(s) of minors, and an evaluation with the client.
We use standardized and non- standardized assessment procedures, along with parent and teacher questionnaires (if applicable) to provide us with information regarding strengths and areas of need.

Insurance companies and Medicaid have increased opportunity for reimbursement for therapy at a distance.
We have increased our capacity for telehealth sessions via video or telephone and most insurance companies have increased their flexibility for reimbursement of telehealth services.
