Learn more about our Virtual Nutrition Counseling offered in Texas, Kentucky, and California! Nutrition DiscoveRD, LLC provides nutrition counseling to adults and adolescents in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area in person, by phone, and through video conference in order to accommodate our clients' schedules. Video conferencing is also available for clients located in Kentucky and California.

We have extensive experience working with clients that struggle with a variety of weight and eating concerns such as eating disorders, disordered eating, athletes, and those with medical diagnoses that require nutrition therapy. Our philosophy involves working closely with clients to create individualized treatment plans focusing on a non-diet, weight-neutral approach.

We believe in helping clients discover peace with food by challenging the diet mentality, providing nutrition education, and creating a positive relationship between food and body.
Services
Mary-Lauren Shelton, RDN, LD, CEDRD holds a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of Kentucky in Lexington where she also completed the Coordinated Dietetics Program.
Mary-Lauren's primary focus is eating disorder treatment with nutrition counseling experience at all stages in recovery.
She currently provides nutrition counseling services in Richardson, TX through her company, Nutrition DiscoveRD, and virtually to residents across Texas and Kentucky!
Mary-Lauren previously worked with clients at Center For Discovery in Addison, Texas as an eating disorder Registered Dietitian Nutritionist in the PHP/IOP (Partial Hospitalization/ Intensive Outpatient) setting, Eating Disorder Solutions in Dallas, TX as a contract eating disorder Registered Dietitian Nutritionist in the residential setting, and also at Medical City Green Oaks Psychiatric Hospital in Dallas, Texas as a Clinical Dietitian Nutritionist in the inpatient setting.
Ellie Stamerjohn, RDN, LD earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS in May of 2019, and completed her dietetic internship at Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, WI.
Ellie is currently in grad school in pursuit of obtaining her Master of Science degree in Dietetics from Mount Mary University (online).
During her undergraduate studies and internship, she gained experience in medical nutrition therapy, food service management, community nutrition, sports nutrition, and eating disorder recovery treatment.
Mary-Lauren Shelton, RDN, LD, CEDRD specializes in working with eating disorders.
She has a passion for learning about each individuals' personal story and working together to create treatment plans that are goal-oriented and attainable for clients in their daily lives.
Having worked in the Inpatient, Residential, Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Outpatient levels of care, Mary-Lauren is equipped to work with clients in various stages of the treatment process; whether it is stepping down from a higher level of care or if it is the first time seeking treatment.
