It has been said that the counselor's role is to hold hope for others while they cannot hold it for themselves. My desire is to provide a safe place for hope, healing, and restoration to take root so that you can thrive. I grew up in the Dallas area and my love for people led me to Texas A&M to study psychology. During my years at A&M, I had the amazing opportunity to work at Pine Cove as a counselor as well as other organizations such as the Student Counseling Helpline.
After A&M, I went on to graduate with my masters degree in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2008. At that time, I also became certified Prepare Enrich facilitator in order to better work with engaged couples as well as couples in conflict.
Since graduating from DTS, I have gained experience working with individuals, adolescents, couples, families, and groups through organizations such as The Turning Point Rape Crisis Center, Galaxy Counseling Center, Nexus Recovery Center, as well as in the private practice setting.
