Chesney Blue, RDN is a nationally known, award winning Registered Dietitian Nutritionist working in the nutrition industry for over 15 years.
She recently served as president of the New Jersey Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics the largest organization for food and nutrition professionals in the state of NJ.
Chesney has worked in a variety of community, clinical and outpatient settings.
As a dietitian at local healthcare facilities in the NJ/NYC metro area, she has gained a lot of knowledge and experience communicating nutrition education and program planning effectively to a diverse population across the lifespan along with advocating for nutrition programs and legislation throughout the state and nation.
Chanta is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified School Social Worker in the state of New Jersey.
She specializes in issues related to parent-child conflict, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, body image and sexuality concerns.
She has a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Child Development from Spelman College in Atlanta, G.A. Chanta also has her Master's of Social Work from Rutgers University and her Master's of Education in Human Sexuality from Widener University.
Chanta has been providing psychotherapy to adolescents and adults for over 10 years in various settings, including schools, community mental health agencies, and HIV/AIDs prevention organizations.
