I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a graduate of Rollins College. Born and raised in Michigan, I am glad to call Orlando home for the past thirty years. My path to becoming a counselor has had many twists and turns. I believe my journey has enriched my ability to provide space for my clients to explore their past, embrace their present and plan for their future.
I love my work as a counselor and it is my honor to partner with you to obtain the change you seek. People seek change when they are stuck - when they are tired of doing the same thing over and over with the same result. Sometimes it feels like we take two steps forward and one step back. Together, we will identify your goals for counseling and chart a path forward to achieve them by maximizing your strengths and implementing effective coping skills.
We will work from a systemic approach and draw from various therapeutic theories including CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
