You've come here looking for hope and have taken the first step toward making changes in your life. I believe you possess a powerful innate source of strength and resilience. This resilience enables you to grow beyond where you are today, heal relationships and change the quality and path of your life. I work with individuals who are bright, motivated people facing challenges with stress, anxiety, depression or dissatisfaction in their relationships.

I also work with couples who recognize their relationship deserves more time and attention and who are motivated to seek change. The pressures women face today are enormous. Demands of work, childcare, family and friends and sources of stress like finances, career advancement, caring for aging parents and finding time to stay healthy can be overwhelming.

Is something troubling you about your relationship or are you facing challenges as a couple? If your goal is to repair and improve your relationship, I encourage you to act as soon as possible.

I believe you possess a powerful innate source of strength and resilience which enables you to grow beyond where you are today, heal relationships and change the quality and path of your life.
I work with individuals who are bright, motivated people facing challenges with stress, anxiety, depression or dissatisfaction in their relationships.
I also work with couples who recognize their relationship deserves more time and attention and who are motivated to seek change.
My area of focus is working with men and men's issues.
I am a licensed professional counselor providing customized personal counseling and therapy services to men and women as individuals or as part of a couple or group.
I work with adolescent boys (ages 16+) and adults of all ages; serving people of all races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and faith groups.
In my former career, I was a manager and a counsultant for Fortune 500 companies so I have have a unique perspective in understanding the demands and pressures of today's corporate workplace.
My academic and training interests included a special focus on the unique needs of men in counseling and approaches a therapist must take to successfully connect with and build the trust of male clients.
My primary goal is to be the kind of therapist that men can be comfortable with and be a resource for them in improving their lives.
Some men see counseling as admitting weakness or asking for help -- neither of which is considered acceptable for males in our culture.
Some men don't like to talk about their feelings or let a stranger' into their private lives.
Society rewards men for being competitive with one another.
Competition is a powerful motivational force but too often men become isolated or cut-off from others.
Group therapy creates a unique opportunity for you to join with other men in common cause for learning, support and development of relational skills.
Groups are formed on a periodic basis, often associated with a particular issue or theme.
We may cover some educational aspects and may include work outside of group such as reading, writing or an activity.
My primary goal is to create a warm, caring and safe space where we can work together to understand your experiences and meet your needs and goals for therapy.
Quite often it is useful and even beneficial to your goals to work with a therapist of the opposite gender.
