My philosophy about therapy is really quite simple. We all have problems in life, the majority of which if left to our own accord we resolve in some meaningful way and move on with life. However, on occasion we get stuck with one and when that occurs I believe there is benefit in reaching out to get some help. I simply see counseling as a process of helping people get unstuck.
By entering this therapeutic process one will engage in exploring their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and will learn problem solving skills that will allow them to hopefully resolve their issues in a more timely and effective manner. Tim is a native of the Lehigh Valley, currently living in Allentown with his wife of 29 years and together they have two grown children.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Social Science from Penn State University in 1976 and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Kutztown University in 1981.
He gained his License to practice Psychology in Pennsylvania in 1990 and has operated a solo private practice since that time.
Prior to opening his private practice Tim worked as a Counselor for a variety of child welfare and counseling agencies in the Lehigh Valley.
