Over the past few months, we have been hard at work opening our brand new office location and our "virtual home" here on the Internet. We hope that you find your experience with it both user friendly and enjoyable. Surf around our site and soon you'll be "feeling right at home" not only with Thrive Counseling but with our new website as well! We warmly invite you and your family into our practice, where we want you to feel safe, respected, and valued.
Nothing is more important than family. Yet, we all know that traumatic experiences, unexpected events, difficult relationships and outside influences can threaten a family and its children's well being. Restoring stability is often more than one person, a couple or even an entire family can do alone. Children, as well as teenagers and adults, often need a place where they can begin to figure out what it is that is upsetting them.
Life can be puzzling and often difficult. Everyone has been faced with situations in their lives where they just don't know where to turn.

Seeking out therapy is both an individual and family choice.
There are many reasons why people come to therapy.
Individuals and families sometimes come to counseling to help process and heal from trauma, a crisis, or abuse.
Sometimes it is to deal with long-standing psychological issues, or problems with anxiety or depression.
Other times it is in response to unexpected changes such as a divorce or school/work change.
Many seek the advice of a counselor as they pursue their own personal exploration and growth.
