Through traditional talk therapy or more direct programs, counseling will help you learn how to identify issues and effectively deal with them in a more healthy and empowered way. These techniques and methods have to potential become ingrained in your daily routine, and change the way you live now and in the future. Effective therapy is the product of an atmosphere where you feel safe and accepted.
Together we will work towards amplifying your innate strengths - the gifts you were born with and the tools you are acquiring. We will work towards helping you create a more optimal way of living. Anger is an extremely common and often valid emotion. But if a lack of anger management is causing setbacks in your life, it might be time to consider therapy to help you learn how to better control and deal with your anger.
Whether we are aware of it or not, anxious thinking affects all aspects of our lives, from our work to our interpersonal relationships and down to our understanding of our own needs.

There are quite a few common refrains I hear in counseling.
One of my favorites is something along the lines of you know.

Do you feel as though there is no way to communicate your needs without getting overly heated?
Have persistent angry episodes caused problems at home, at work or school, and in your relationships?
Perhaps you find that you react to any and all sensitive situations with anger, as opposed to other emotions like sadness or feelings of overwhelm.
Or maybe you believe if you did let yourself feel sad, you would be perceived as weak or inferior by others.
In a society that undervalues emotional intelligence and relies on constructs of masculinity to create a hierarchy of power, it is easy to convince yourself that anger is a sign of manliness and capability.

Is pressure building up from every angle of your life, including from your interpersonal relationships?
Is "should" a common word in your internal monologue, causing you to second-guess your decisions?
Does it simply feel like you cannot mute your anxious thinking?
Perhaps you have tried adopting new methods and approaches in the past in order to make yourself more mindful, but you find that worries creep in every time.
Or you may have grown so accustomed to anxious thinking, that you think there is no other way to live.

Do cycles of negative and anxious thinking prevent you from feeling confident in your decisions?
Or maybe you are struggling with what feels like the weight of the world on your shoulders, beaten down by a seemingly never-ending cycle of bad news.
Depression is a widely common condition that can present itself in a variety of ways and in a variety of people.
Symptoms of depression not only have emotional consequences but physical and social ones too.
For example, depression may cause you to have high blood pressure, heightened anxiety, a compromised immune symptom, and suicidal ideation.
