My counseling practice, under the names Hidden Hill Counseling, LLC & videocounseling.net, is designed to create a peaceful, safe, and quiet environment within which to do this important work. My love of this work began in 1977, and has taken me on a journey of wonderful, sometimes challenging, discovery. Every day is new, every client is unique and special, and there is always the opportunity for resolving a crisis, making significant changes, and even going through some transformation.
I began my career in California, working as a medical social worker at two different hospitals, and moved into supervision, administration, and consultation. I worked in a hemodialysis unit, emergency room, rehabilitation unit, burn center, and nursing home. I was the Director of Human Services at Brotman Medical Center. I moved to Washington, D.C., where I continued my private practice and started a travel business, which I co-owned for 10 years.
That enabled me to travel throughout the world and interact with a multitude of cultures.

Information and a rationale for each strategy, treatment option, or referral is always provided, and you are encouraged to ask questions and address any concerns prior to your agreement to engage in counseling or a specifically recommended treatment.
