Anxiety and depression have a way of taking over your life. Sometimes people don't even know they have been struggling with anxiety and depression; they become used to it. You have probably already done a lot to cope on your own. I'm Margy, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with over 25 years of experience in the field of mental health, and I'm here to help.

I have come to enjoy and specialize in working with people with anxiety, depression and prenatal/postpartum adjustment. I can teach you how to live a life that you didn't know was possible. I offer healthy strategies to help you enjoy your life again. I help people work toward being the best version of themselves, build confidence, improve relationships and gain direction in life.

I help people with anxiety, depression and prenatal/postpartum adjustment. Anxiety and depression can wreak havoc on our daily lives and in relationships; you end up feeling miserable and don't quite know why or how it got this bad. You want to feel more in control, confident, peaceful, motivated - happy.
Services
I help people with anxiety, depression and prenatal/postpartum adjustment.
Anxiety and depression can wreak havoc on our daily lives and in relationships; you end up feeling miserable and don't quite know why or how it got this bad.
You want to feel more in control, confident, peaceful, motivated - happy.
You want a safe place to talk and get some help sorting things out.
I also offer a Christian perspective in therapy, if you so choose.
I got started in the field of helping when I was in high school.
I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each of my client's individual needs to help attain the personal growth for which they are striving.
Anxiety & Depression - I am a HUGE fan of getting in there and treating both anxiety and depression.
Usually we don't see one without the other.
Anxiety most often comes first, it is EXHAUSTING, the brain gets tired of it, and the mood tanks = depression.
Research is showing that targeted and aggressive treatment are "neuro-protective", meaning it protects your brain in the long run, from memory problems and other physical and mental health problems as we age.
Not at all.
People who ask for help know when they need it and have the ability to reach out.
Everyone needs help now and then.
You already have some strengths that you've used before, and for whatever reason, they aren't working right now.
Perhaps this problem feels overwhelming and is making it difficult to access your past strengths.
In our work together, I'll help you identify what those strengths are and how to implement them again in what is happening now.
The difference is between someone who can do something, and someone who has the training and experience to do that same thing professionally.
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part.
Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.
Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
Do I have a deductible?
If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have?
If so, what is the limit?
Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
