For all services, I offer a free phone consultation to discuss the service, your needs, and how I can help you. My goal is to help you to create a meaningful and productive life by working together to understand what is important to you and what you want your world to be about. I generally begin with an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy perspective that focuses on building a new approach to your experiences - called 'psychological flexibility.'
Essentially, it's about understanding what we can't control, and recognizing and committing to doing things that we can control and that are personally valuable. Whether that's your feelings, thoughts, medical conditions, life circumstances, or team dynamics - you can learn how to accept uncontrollable things for how they are, choose what is important to you, and take action in a meaningful direction.
I graduated from the University of Denver with my doctorate in clinical psychology (PsyD) and also received my masters through the University of Denver.

Services
Yenza's focus is to help you (or your child!) feel heard and to commit to a life that feels fulfilling and valuable.
I achieve this by working together from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) based approach which focuses on creating space for your present experiences, identifying what is important to you, and figuring out how to shift your life in the direction of those values.
Does your child or teen live with a chronic medical condition (such as Diabetes, Cystic Fibrosis, Chronic Pain, etc)?
