Counseling Las Cruces
You're at the point that you know you should start therapy. Congratulations! That can be difficult to accept. Because, as backward as it sounds, getting help can feel scary. So, here you are. However, it hasn't quite taken off yet. There could be a few things standing in your way for many different reasons. Maybe you live in Lincoln County and you don't feel like there are many resources that apply to you.

Or, you could live near Albuquerque and the thought of battling the traffic makes you second guess your choice to start therapy. Perhaps you're not ready for other people to know that you're starting therapy, which is valid. If this is the case, going into a therapist's office makes you feel very nervous. And hey, let's not forget about the pandemic.

Maybe spending a lot of time outside your home doesn't feel like a great option right now. If any of these situations sound familiar, online therapy can help. I am passionate about working with people who feel frustrated in their communication as well as sexual relationships.

In my approach to counseling, I start with where the client is.
Art Therapy is a form of counseling that uses art-making in the therapeutic process.
Art Therapists are trained in counseling and often use counseling/talk therapy skills in session.
Individual therapy is focused on your unique goals, personality, and needs.
We provide a private, nurturing space for you to figure things out, grow into your potential, and work through obstacles.

Are you frustrated that this shift in your feelings, thoughts, and mood is keeping you from living your life?
I have spent the past twenty years involved in community health as a Health Educator, consultant, and mental health advocate.
My experience helping people propelled me to go back to school to further hone my skills as a healer.
Since graduating with a Masters Degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy, I have worked in various agency settings.
I moved to Las Cruces in 2009 and have found this to be a beautiful area of the country.
I am excited to be working with people in the Southern New Mexico and El Paso areas who are searching for a counselor they can trust.
For over thirty years, Andrew has continued to provide compassionate counseling and psychotherapy to culturally diverse populations of individuals and families.
