Hope For The Journey Enterprises
In most areas of your life, you are killing it. You may be super successful, have a relationship your friends envy, and/or a great set of friends who really "get" you. But there's that one area of your life that is just not working, no matter how many self-help books you read or coaching sessions you schedule. Your life and healing matter. Our counseling services help kids, adults, parents, and partners in Texas to survive and thrive after trauma (especially sexual traumas).

Don't settle. Start your road to recovery now. Don't let another moment slip by without freeing yourself from the past or overcoming whatever is hanging you up. You deserve to THRIVE, not just survive. With the right help & the tools to make it happen, life can be so much more. An investment in your emotional well-being pays off in mind, body, and spirit for years to come.

Make sure it's a good fit with your counselor with a 30-Minute Meet & Greet before you start. Leave therapy with the skills to manage your mood, experiences, and relationships long-term.
Services
We are passionate about helping smart, gritty kids, adults, parents, and partners (such as yourself) to survive and thrive after trauma--particularly sexual trauma.
Heather sees healing in the context of relationships.
Whether you are struggling with intimacy, want more harmony in your home, or can't figure out why you keep making poor relationship decisions, she can help.
With a history in substance abuse recovery and EMDR training, Rochelle helps young adults, adults, couples and families hoping to heal attachment, grief/loss, PTSD, and family conflict.
In my office, we will work to make things to feel easier and more connected--in parenting, partnering, or even co-parenting after a divorce.
Through either individual or couples therapy, I can help you learn how to communicate and maneuver life even when a crisis has occurred.
Life events like chronic illness, a sexual abuse history, or depression shouldn't keep you from a life of love and belonging.
Let's get started.
The truth is, if you don't recognize that your relationships are important enough to invest in, we won't be a good match.
If you're ready for someone to level with you, I'm here to help you get your life moving in a better direction.
Here's a little info about Katy Harmon, clinician at Hope For The Journey, to help you decide if she might be a good fit for you or your child.
As your counselor, my job is not to give advice or tell you what to do.
You can figure that out for yourself.
Instead, my job is to help clear out the past that is holding you back.
I empower my clients to take control of their own lives, to feel more connected with their families and friends, and to be their best selves.
My last name is easy once you get it down.
It sounds like "SEE-GET-VERY".
While my last name might be tricky, I believe counseling should be clear, simple &, most of all, helpful.
I help kids (as young as 3), tweens and teens to believe in themselves no matter what's happened in their past.
While my clients are young in age, they are mighty.
I love helping them feel strong, capable, and free.
I also love to work with young adults and young-at-heart adults who are looking to overcome the past.
My clients want to embrace themselves for who they are instead of who they think (or have been told) they should be.
Many people want their lives to change, but can't seem to make it happen.
Growing up military and working people of all kinds of backgrounds during my career, I love helping my clients to find their own grit and make real improvements in their lives.
I help people (individuals, couples, families) find the healing they deserve and become intentional within their lives.
Luckily, we have powerful, effective treatment options available.
Coming to a PTSD specialist means you get someone dedicated to finding what works for you.
