Our trauma focused approach recognizes that every story is complex, unique and is characterized by your wonderful ability to survive. However, your life should not be about simply surviving, but truly living free. We hold this space for you to, at a minimum, be loved, valued and heard.
Using a variety of modalities, we will help establish a treatment plan that is less about our agenda and more about guiding you through your story. Whether your marriage or romantic relationship is in crisis or has just had a steady pace of disconnection over time, this can be a special time for your relationship. For families, all families operate within a family system, so if that system is dysfunctional or encountered a kink, this space is for you.

Is Stories Counseling a "christian" practice or do Biblical Counseling?
Our primary focus as clinicians licensed with the state of Arizona is to provide clinical mental health therapy to our clients that abides by the ACA Code of Ethics and the boundaries of the state licensing board (AZBBHE) to help establish a clinical treatment plan that is measurable.
However, we do have clinicians of many faith and theological leanings and we even have a few ordained pastors on the team.
This means that if a client requests it, our ordained pastors can provide Gospel Integration.
