Oftentimes, when one is forced to face life's challenges alone, it feels unbearable, unchangeable, and/or unsolvable. Having a safe, supportive, and trusting environment is important and necessary to overcome those challenges and live a meaningful and productive life. Our goal is to provide that environment with a refreshing perspective, which will enable you to knock down walls, heal wounds, and conquer obstacles.
Our therapists provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an empirically supported approach used by many clinicians across the world to treat psychological disorders such as depression and anxiety disorders. CBT has proven effective not only in treating these disorders but also in preventing relapse, common for both depression and anxiety disorders.
CBT focuses on changing not only patterns of thinking that are maladaptive but also the beliefs that underlie such thinking. Anxiety, or persistent and exaggerated worry, is thought to afflict one in four adults across their lifetime.
