Counseling Services of Vienna has been operating for almost 20 years. During this time, Roberta (Bobbi) Cordingley and Rosanne Shepler have been working with individuals, couples, and families seeking therapy for a myriad of reasons. Physicians, ministers, schools, and previous clients have referred individuals, couples and families to Counseling Services for those wanting help for life issues, transitions, or a crisis at home or work.
We have become a part of the fabric and life of the Vienna area. We realize that entering therapy can be a daunting task, especially sharing private and intimate thoughts with a complete stranger. For this reason, every client should share a therapeutic environment with his/her therapist that includes trust, safety, honesty and positive regard. This type of therapeutic relationship provides the support in the client's personal process of discovery and change.
Ultimately, resolving problematic patterns or difficulties with others or within oneself is the goal.

Services
A LPC is someone who has at least a Master's Degree in Counseling and is licensed by the state to provide psychotherapy.
LPCs do not prescribe medication.
We participate with some insurance panels.
We will submit claims to your insurance company and collect the deductible from you at each session.
If we do not participate with your insurance panel, your plan may provide for "out-of-network" counseling.
Since Bobbi and Rosanne are both LPCs, most insurance companies will reimburse a portion of cost of counseling.
